Herbal Tea

Singer's Tea

Whether you're feeling a tickle in your throat from allergies or overuse, make this simple and effective recipe to soothe your body, mind, and spirit. 

​

1-inch piece fresh ginger root, peeled and thinly sliced

4-6 green cardamom pods

4 whole cloves

1 cinnamon stick

4 cups purified, filtered water

 

If you are also experiencing mucus, add a few whole peppercorns for additional "heat" to melt it away. 

​

Add all ingredients into a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 15-20 minutes. Strain into a mug. Let cool slightly and drink an 8 oz cup every 3-4 hours. 

​

Makes 4 servings.
